Please let me know here if you would rather Merle not tag your character. He can be pretty ignorant and unpleasant, so it'd be totally understandable.

Merle wasn't sure what to make of the new face yet. She was new to the town, new to his group, but she'd survived a night alone with geeks biting at her heels. Meant she had to have some skills to last out there so long, o at least one hell of a strong will to keep moving forward.

He approached her slowly and shifted his weight to one foot. His good hand slips into his pocket while the other hangs loosely at his side. "You gonna keep me company on watch tonight there, sweetheart?"

The words are drawled out, teasing and friendly enough. Friendly as Merle ever got anyway.
